Western Undergraduate Exchange
We've got WUE for you! The value of the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) at U of I for the 2025-26 academic year is nearly $16,000. That’s approximately $64,000 in value over the course of four years!
The 妻友社区 offers the WUE tuition waiver to qualifying students from all WUE states, regardless of GPA. Participating WUE states are:
Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, the territory of Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
If you are a resident of one of the states listed above, see the table below to see if you meet all of the other required qualifications.
There’s no separate application or deadline for the WUE tuition waiver. Simply complete your U of I admission application to be considered. It’s that easy! If you have already applied and been admitted to U of I, you have already been automatically considered for the WUE tuition waiver.
